It’s “a secret” and I want to keep it that way …
But Pension Alter Felsenkeller Naumburg(Saale),
far from the crowd,
is an oasis of calm, an island of tranquility.
My friend Peter Draht, the owner,
is an extraordinairy host to his guests.

A long time ago, in 1860, Nietzsche (1844-1900)
and his friends walked along
the Alter Felsenkeller to the Schönburg,
where they founded “Germania”.
During warm summerdays they went swimming
in the river Saale, that is (of course!)
how I traced Alter Felsenkeller.
It takes an inspiring walk – about 20 minutes-
from Alter Felsenkeller to the
Nietzsche Dokumentationszentrum Naumburg(Saale).
