Kolumba Museum Köln(1)

Verliefd worden op een museum,
het gebeurde me in het Kolumba Museum in Köln.
De zorgvuldigheid van de architectuur die op de tenen loopt
om de stilte niet te verstoren, de afgewogen details,
de gewijde sfeer,
kunst als hoogste goed, het lichtvoetig zware,
overal dat licht, het onmogelijke … het hogere.
Ga erheen, zoals ik terug wil en steeds terug zal willen!

respecting the site’s history and preserving its essence.

The Kolumba is an art museum in Cologne, Germany.
It is located on the site of the former
St. Columba church and run by the Archdiocese
of Cologne.
It is one of the oldest museums in the city.
